A great deal of my followers are over the age of 40. HEY YALL HEY! Style knows no age so I am eternally grateful for all my big sister’s support out there. I love that the folks who follow this space age ranges span a good 5 decades! There is literally something for everyone when it comes to people to gain insight and inspiration from. You have your beauty bloggers, your hair bloggers, your vloggers, your fashion bloggers, your lifestyle bloggers, your travel bloggers, your mommy bloggers and everything in between. I know I just started blogging full-time but I hope my transition from my 30s-40s still yield the same amazing opportunities. There’s a whole world of women out there who are already paving the way for me, kicking ass and taking names in the blogger and influencer space. Some I’ve followed for years and some I just learned about recently but instead of 30 Under 30 I think it’s time to celebrate those over 40 in this very new business who are definitely making it easier to influence at any age.

I actually attend a really cool event this past Wednesday, School of Hustle with Go Daddy, a fireside chat with Lyn. It was amazing and I hope you caught some of it on my Instastories. Lyn literally dropped so many gems about this influencer industry and how to set the tone for the your social media spaces. I’m excited for her because it gives me hope that I can blog for as long as I like, even when I’m old and gray, God willing. People like to say that influencers and bloggers have an expiration date, but as long as there are people in the world, there will be someone who relates to you at any age.

Loved this post!
